I know exactly what it is like to be in your shoes. I went through my own divorce and it definitely was one of the most trying times in my life. The emotional aspect of divorcing, the questioning of my financial decisions, the increasing attorney costs and the fact that it dragged on for over 18 months took a toll on me and my family. It was really hard to understand how two people with CPA credentials got sucked into the emotional side of divorce.
I founded Divorce Help CPA and earned my Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) designation so that I could help others navigate through the divorce process. A CDFA® is a valuable partner in any divorce. A CDFA® professional is a financial professional skilled at analyzing data and providing expertise on the financial issues of divorce. The role of the CDFA® professional is to assist the client and his or her attorney to understand how the decisions he or she makes today will impact the client’s financial future.
